if it refuses to work now, it probably never will, try changing the e-mail to something else as the verification email wil probably be sent there easily, or check to see if the verification emails been put in your spam inbox as your email might think the email is spam .

I know how to make bebo skins (backgrounds) i've made quite a few.. but i have a few questions about making them and if anyone knows the answers i would be REALLY gratefull!





1) The main background for the skin: i always make it coloured, because when i make it white and put it on bebo, the part of it i make is a different white to the bottom half?


So how do you make it, so it's all white?





2) How do you make more room for your writing and pictures at the top on the skin, instead of it all going onto your profile?

when you have completed uploading your graphics for your skin you need to go to EDIT STYLESHEET then where it says MAIN SECTION underneath that it says PADDING TOP put iin something like 200 or whatever size looks the best on your skin and then you need to edit the colour so underneath padding top it says BACKROUND COLOUR and pick the matching one as the one you choose . . . . you have to muck around a bit but you will get there in the end . . . . hope you can understand what im sayin and hope it helps =)
Reply:maybe ur using the wrong white.... or the white on bebo could be wrong, but that must be soo annoying! When you use coloured backgrounds on bebo, its good to get one of those internet colour charts so that you can get the exact same colour as on bebo. i think this one is good http://www.johncfish.com/bggallery/other...


yea.... and the making room for writing bit is called padding, usually for putting ur whole background that you made up the top is around about 400 padding i think.. i can't remember... but u'll have to keep adjusting it till you get the one you want... so tedious... enjoy!

you can check the bebo site...over there they have mentioned the size required for each image ...you even have to name the files in the manner in which they have mentioned. Even i had problems uploading a skin. Even though my sizes were correct it said that i was 1 pixel with wrong dimensions. They might be having some problems

I know this has been asked before but i need up to date sites sites to allow me to access Hotmail and Bebo etc! My work seems to have them all blocked. They use Novell Border Manager if this helps.

If it's just the standard Paint programme that comes with All PCs then just click - SAVE AS and then in the new window, where it says SAVE AS TYPE - Click on the little arrow and a drop down menu will appear. There you will be able to save it as a jpeg file or an animated GIF.

I know this has been asked before but i need up to date sites sites to allow me to access Hotmail and Bebo etc! My work seems to have them all blocked. They use Novell Border Manager if this helps.

its just a site issue mate due to large numbers loggin in at any time! happens to me pretty often, just gotta live with it lol... other than that, try deleting cookies and temp files and restart firefox. this works for me now and again.





failing that im not really clued up on this subject to be honest, maybe its ur pc, try and do a registry fix on it. probably wont make a difference lol but at least ur regedit will be cleaned hey

well you have to make a layered gif.





you create a picture with multiple layers and when you save DO NOT FLATTEN THE IMAGE. Save it as a gif and it will save as an animation. You can also change the timing between each layer and looping and stuff like that.

I know how to make bebo skins (backgrounds) i've made quite a few.. but i have a few questions about making them and if anyone knows the answers i would be REALLY gratefull!





1) The main background for the skin: i always make it coloured, because when i make it white and put it on bebo, the part of it i make is a different white to the bottom half?


So how do you make it, so it's all white?





2) How do you make more room for your writing and pictures at the top on the skin, instead of it all going onto your profile?

1) You need to edit your stylesheet. I think yoy have to make sure all of the backround colours are #FFFFF .Or The Same white . I think it is #FFFFF or it may only have 4 F's!!


--Make sure you change your font colour's or they will probably come out white


2) You need to edit your stylesheet again. Type in the box where it has pre-typed 5 (the padding top). Change the 5 to a 375 to make your graphics go above your profile. This works, I know, because I had exactly the same problem!

Okay so i know how to make them etc.





But unfortunately Bebo has limitations on the file size.. and it reduces the look of the skin making it fuzzy and just making it look bad all round.





I have had a look around bebo and there are skins that are way more complicated and have more brushes etc, that have no loss of quality what so ever!

Fire works is probably the most common software used to make skins...and photoshop 9...


But it depends what you save it under.


I find that GIF works well but sometimes the color fades and doesnt match the background you have chosen.


I also open it up in paint and re-save it.


This way it resizes the image to make it smaller =]

okay so yu wanna make a bebo skin...firstly i wud recommend you get a different program other than ms paint becuz quite frankly its s@#t...i use macromedia fireworks to make my bebo skins, heres a link:

but as you may be a beginner heres what to do for using paint, [keep in mind this is basics, so i wont tell how to add images etc, as you may already know this and becuz paint is just to poo for it:





%26gt; resize the canvas (thats the white box) to the correct size that is needed for example 760x375 for the big image in the middle





%26gt; add some text or images to the canvas. to add text jus click the 'A' button on the left hand side wher there are other tools.





%26gt; to add images you will have to click open and copy the image.. make sure you resize the image for the canvas.





%26gt; you will basically have to do this for each section of the bebo skin.

go on there help page and how to delete account is a common question. you will have to wait a few days for them to confirm account is deleted and also are you sure you want to delete this account which is normal. you have to give a valid email whilst going through this.(hope this help,s)





just seen it was an old account you used,you will have to remember,or get hold of account name and password or you won,t get much further unless you contact there support team and go from there.
Reply:You can delete it, just go into the account settings and you can choose to delete it. I recently deleted a Bebo band page, but I can't remember how I did it. Just go around the settings of the Bebo account and there is an option to close it. Good luck!

Well, since you've tried to talk some sense into her and she won't listen, basically the only thing she can do is sign up for bebo herself and try to add him. If he's smart he won't use his real name so she probably won't be able to find him, but she may get lucky.


Personally, I think, and I know by what you said you'll agree, she's setting herself up for a world of hurt by not simply confronting him with her fears and asking to see his bebo account (they ARE married, so I think that's not an unreasonable request).


I know how it feels to suspect someone, confront them and have them turn it around and make me feel like I'm the one that's crazy. If her instincts are telling her he's cheating (and she's not overly paranoid) then she should listen to them.

Sure there is. In fact, when in doubt, go look in Wikipedia!

However, you should note that all programs as complicated as these (not Paint) have a steep learning curve, so it'll take TIME, and lots of it. Personally, I use GIMP 2.0 since it has the most functions that I know of and is still free.

Every Time I Try To Log Into Bebo, Another Window pens Saying Noting But ' Protected mode off ' This Is Really Anoying And Sometimes The Acctual Bebo Window Changes And Says I Must Enable Cookies I Have Done This Repeatatley But The Problem Continues.

Bebo's not that great but with it being a new thing youngsters are spending lots of time on it finding out what their friends are up to and what they put onto their sites. Why don't you ask her to help you make a site for you, you could both do it together. Tell her politely that it's ruining your friendship and that you would rather she spent some time on Bebo and some time with you as you don't want to lose the friendship that you both have. You can save the photos from your page to your computer by right clicking it and saving it to the desired place.


Then print it out from the normal printer then I assume you can send it away somewhere to be professionally done.

Problems Viewing Bebo Flash Box?

Whenever I try and view a bebo flash box the box comes up saying Product View Express at the top and below where the video should be playing it says graphics data not available. I am using Internet explorer on my laptop PC and I have the most up to date version of quicktime available what do I need to do to view the flashbox? When I use my mac with firefox I can view the flashbox perfectly.
